My Hometown
I grew up in London, Kentucky - a small city located in the southeastern part of the state. I have lived in the same subdivision my entire life. The people here are (for the most part) very kind and neighborly. A little over a year ago, a large tornado ripped through my area. The community has been rebuilding, but it will never be the same as it was.
My Education
I am currently majoring in Information Technology at University of the Cumberlands (formerly, Game Design). Due to the aforementioned tornado, I was not able to return in-person last year, so I have been doing work online. Unfortunately, this means that my minor in Art is on hold until I can attend in-person again. I chose IT because of my interest in electronics and the projected job outlook.
The Internet
As someone who grew up somewhat alongside the big technology boom of the early 21st century, I have a unique relationship with the internet. When I was young, the internet was just creeping its way into realization. During my childhood, I relied on physical activities and products to help me learn and keep me intertained. Now, it is nearly inconceivable to picture a world without the internet.
